A Supportive Hug

Building Safer Communities

Building Safer Communities

Building Safer Communities is what Denise Mercer and Janet Taylor have built to not only support the individuals in the community, but in bringing mentorship around Mental Wellness out into the "Community" at large.

Schools, associations and businesses are all struggling to find ways to support everyone within the deep and challenging topic of mental health.

This collaboration we offer to you and your community is what we refer to as the safe space. The safe space to share, collaborate and come together as humanity. A forum to share your wins, your questions, your struggles and your wants. Join us as we meet weekly and monthly on Zoom groups and connect with us to speak to your school, organization or business today.

The conversation needs to get louder as suicide rates are getting higher than ever.

Together WE can.

Parents Never Give Up.

You matter and what you have experienced, seen, witnessed or heard needs to be shared when you are ready.

Parents Never Give Up was originally designed to be a space for Janet to recount her stories and share her heartache, her fears and the lessons she's learned. Janet has uncovered her passion and purpose and now she lives to support other parents who are dealing with children who are choosing to self-harm. Janet's passionate about no parent having to walk this journey alone. It took her 4 long years to realize the one key part of parenting that she was missing throughout everything that was happening around her. When she realized it, she knew she had hit it on the head because she hasn’t looked back since. We have difficult days and we have painful moments, but we shall not live in them.
